Chocolate & Confectionery Festival – Stockholm, 28 March 2026

We can’t help it — every time a food-focused event pops up in Stockholm’s foodie calendar, we get genuinely excited. Especially when it’s about good chocolate, craftsmanship and inspiration. That’s exactly what Choklad & Konfektyrfestivalen is all about, taking place on 28 March 2026 at Brygghuset near Odenplan in Stockholm.

This festival is a new meeting place for everyone who loves chocolate and artisanal confectionery. You’ll be able to walk among passionate makers and producers, taste a wide selection of chocolates, pralines and sweet treats — and learn about the stories behind the craft.

What to Expect at the Festival

At the Chocolate & Confectionery Festival you’ll discover:

A large selection of handcrafted chocolates and sweets from Swedish artisans.

Tastings and opportunities to meet the people behind the products.

Specialty booths where producers share their passion and knowledge.

Optional sit-down chocolate tastings hosted by true chocolate lovers and experts like Ellinor Isaksson (the “pralinprinsessan”) and world-renowned bean-to-bar craftspeople.

Whether you’re a seasoned chocolate lover or just curious about the craft of confectionery, this festival is an inspiring day filled with taste, knowledge and creativity.

Our Passion for Food Events

At our takeaway restaurant in Stockholm, we live and breathe food — not as a product for profit, but as an expression of culture, craft and joy. Events like this remind us why we fell in love with food in the first place: the incredible diversity of flavours, ingredients, stories and skills that people bring to the table.

Sure, we focus on lasagna and homemade meals from scratch. But chocolate? We adore it too. Desserts, sweets, subtle bitterness and deep cocoa notes — they all have their place in our kitchen, especially because chocolate inspires us to play, explore and reinterpret.

We don’t claim to be chocolate experts — far from it. But we love chocolate, and we love seeing how others work with it. That’s the heart of why we attend festivals like this: to learn, to taste, to connect and to bring that inspiration back into our kitchen.

A Little Chocolate Story

Chocolate has a long and fascinating history — from its origins in Central America, where cacao was revered and used in ceremonial drinks, to its journey across continents and cultures. Today, chocolate is a global passion, a craft medium and a science in itself.

We aren’t historians or professional chocolatiers, but our love for chocolate goes deep. In our own kitchen we enjoy incorporating chocolate in ways that bring out its complexity — from rich desserts to surprising savoury combinations like our wild boar ragu with chocolate, where the bitterness of dark chocolate enhances depth and umami in the sauce.

Yes — chocolate in ragu. Trust us, it works.

Why We Love These Events

For us, food festivals are more than taste tests. They’re:

Celebrations of craft and community

Opportunities to meet passionate creators

Moments of inspiration for our own kitchen

Reminders of why homemade food — made from scratch — matters

As a restaurant that cares deeply about quality, sustainability and thoughtful production, events like the Choklad & Konfektyrfestivalen energise us. They remind us that food isn’t just fuel — it’s joy, it’s creativity, it’s connection.

So if you’re in Stockholm on 28 March, this festival is well worth a visit — whether you’re a serious chocolate enthusiast or simply curious about what makes great chocolate tick.

Let’s taste, learn and celebrate together. 🍫✨
