A Sustainable Takeaway? We’re Trying — One Lasagna at a Time.

At Lasagnariet, we’ve always believed that good food should feel good in every sense. Not just the warm, comforting kind of good… but the kind that respects the world outside our kitchen too.

Running a take away in Stockholm comes with responsibility. And whether our food is enjoyed at home, at the office, through our deliveries, or during a catering event, the values behind it stay the same. So we’ve made a few promises to ourselves from day one:

We choose locally sourced ingredients whenever we can.
Not because it sounds trendy, but because it matters — for flavour, for farmers, for the planet.

We cook everything from ingredients we trust.
Not extreme, not perfect — just a thoughtful way of preparing high quality homemade food. Some things take time, some things get messy, but every choice is made with intention. It’s our way of avoiding unnecessary shortcuts and keeping the soul in what we do.

We keep packaging simple, practical, and sustainable.
We avoid using extra paper or carton just to make things “look more appealing.” Less waste, more honesty.
Our containers are recyclable, compostable, or reusable whenever possible — and when customers prefer to heat their lasagna in the oven instead of the microwave, we offer aluminium trays as a functional solution. Not perfect, but practical and respectful of real-life needs.

We avoid shortcuts disguised as “solutions.”
If it’s vegan, it’s made from real ingredients.
If it’s gluten-free, it’s crafted with care.
We don’t rely on industrial substitutes. We rely on cooking, knowledge, and good sense.

And behind all of this is one simple idea:
A takeaway can still have a soul.
Even in a busy city. Even during a lunch rush. Even when life gets fast.

We’re not perfect — but every day, whether we’re preparing lasagna for take away Stockholm, packing boxes for deliveries, or cooking for catering, we try to make choices that feel right for our craft, for our community, and for our planet.
One lasagna at a time.
